LEGO FOR LEARNING In-person Group, 5 sessions
Lego® for Learning is for groups of three children, where we use Lego® as a learning tool.
It is a fun group to develop speech and language skills, social emotional skills and social communication skills. Depending on the needs of the group, literacy and numeracy skills can also be taught.
I combine the principals and ideas from Lego® Six Bricks and Lego® Therapy, along with my experience as a qualified teacher in a neurodivergent affirming and trauma informed way, to ensure the skills are learned in a frustration free environment.
Children will have the opportunity to use their creativity, develop their communication skills, identify their emotions and express themselves in healthy ways, while enjoying the Lego®.
The Lego® for Learning group will run in 5 week blocks in term time, and over the five days in a week in the summer holidays.
